When catastrophe strikes, one of the first things that
happens after the disaster is over is that a catastrophe claims adjuster is
called in to assess damage and determine the validity and amount of insurance
claims. Unfortunately, however, people aren’t always satisfied with the
decisions rendered by their catastrophe claims adjuster.
This fact couldn’t be truer for 28 homeowners in Oklahoma
who are suing their insurers. These Oklahoma residents were all people who
suffered losses after a series of tornadoes made their way through central
Oklahoma in May of last year. The homeowners, who are all suing Farmers’
Insurance Group, claim that the money they received as a result of their claims
is not sufficient for rebuilding their homes or creating new lives for
themselves.
Of course, it’s impossible to keep every single person happy
when it comes to insurance claims, but HC Adjusters does strive to create a
satisfactory arrangement for all parties involved, including the insurance
company and the person filing the claim, whenever a catastrophe occurs.
