It’s been four years since the horrific BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and while the spill affected many, no one is feeling the pain more than Florida residents. The spill, which killed eleven people, has resulted in an astonishing 82,812 insurance claims being filed in Florida alone.

In fact, Florida accounts for a whopping 30 percent of all of the claims filed in relation to the spill. With so many claims having been filed, you can imagine that life is pretty busy for the average Florida claims adjuster. And, if you work for or manage an insurance company, then you already know firsthand just how difficult it can be to handle such a massive volume of claims.

Luckily, insurance firms never have to handle increased workload volumes on their own. There is always the option to hire an outside insurance adjuster when the demands get to be too much for your firm to handle. If the oil spill or any other event has your firm feeling overworked, contact HC Adjusters for assistance.
