Are You Offering a Basic Business Owner’s Policy?

As a provider of commercial insurance and as an organization that handles commercial insurance claims, you probably offer a wide range of insurance package options. More often than not, commercial insurers like yourself prefer to sell the most inclusive packages possible in order to turn a better profit and to make sure customers are fully covered.

It’s important that you’re catering to all business owners, however, and that includes the newbies—the ones who want coverage but who can’t afford the high price tag of most “all inclusive” options. To cater to those business owners, consider offering a general “business owner’s policy,” one that includes some degree of property insurance, general liability insurance, and insurance for events that cause a suspended business or that result in property damage or legal proceedings. Remember, you can start customers off with cheaper levels of coverage and then gradually encourage them to increase their coverage as their businesses take off.

When you cater to all people with your business, it can only expand your client base and help your business to grow. If it grows a little too much, however, and you need an extra professional or two to help you with the New Jersey claims management process, contact HC Adjusters for assistance.
